The correct cluster depends on the exact model, year, original instrument architecture, connector layout and the vehicle data that must remain available after installation. A dashboard that looks similar is not enough to confirm compatibility.
Model year is only the first check
Volkswagen platforms from overlapping years can use different original clusters and vehicle-data routes. iKAGOO checks the powered-on original cluster, model and year before shipment so the correct version can be prepared.
Functions are confirmed per Volkswagen cluster
Volkswagen digital clusters do not all share the same hardware or software. Some support navigation or CarPlay-related display functions, while others focus on original driving data. A standard VW 12.3-inch cluster should not be treated as an Android head unit: 4G, DSP and Android functions are not universal cluster features.
The cluster is only correct when the vehicle data is correct

Do I need coding or programming?
