CarPlay, maps and unit switching cannot be assumed across every Toyota cluster
Toyota cluster products use different hardware and integration strategies. For example, the 2010–2022 Toyota 4Runner 12.3-inch cluster does not support CarPlay, while its MPH / KM/H display can be switched from the menu. Other Toyota cluster products, such as selected Tundra applications, can include CarPlay and map-related functions. Always confirm the exact product rather than using a category-level feature claim.
What should be checked before shipment?
The upgrade is complete only when the Toyota data and warnings work correctly
